Welcome to the Keystone 99’s Webpage!

Who we are:

We are a volunteer, non-profit group of women aviators or aviatrixes, young and old. Students, Engineers, Mothers, Military Personnel, Professional Pilots, Businesswomen, Teachers, Health Care Workers, and more, who share a love of aviation.

This is the official webpage for the Keystone Chapter, Mid-Atlantic Section of the Ninety-Nines International group.


Where we are:

Northeast Pennsylvania – from the Lehigh Valley (including Quakertown and Reading) to the New York State border

Our mission:

  • To provide support, encouragement and networking opportunities to women pilots
  • To educate youth about aviation and thus promote interest in science, math and aviation careers
  • To provide access to scholarships to help women pilots further their flying passion or career
  • To promote general aviation in the community

Joanna Bergey (Keystone) & Mary Wunder (Eastern PA) are on their way to Alton, IL for the A.R.C. as Team #15.  Wishing them safe travels! Blue skies and tailwinds ladies! UPDATE: Joanna and Mary came in 9th place! Congrats!

Please head to the Scholarships tab in order to read about current open scholarships. Deadlines will also be posted on the Calendar. We are currently highlighting the Mid Atlantic Section’s and Sugarloaf Chapter’s scholarships. Apply Today and further your dreams!

Our Section Scholarship window is now open. Many Keystone members have won this scholarship. Aids with advanced training (post Private).

For over 80 years, the Aero Club of Pennsylvania has awarded aviation training scholarships through our affiliated scholarship funds** with the goal of supporting young men and women from the Philadelphia/Greater Delaware Valley region in their efforts toward an aviation career. Eastern PA Scholarship DeadlineThe Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of The Ninety-Nines, Inc. established an aviation/aerospace scholarship that is awarded annually in June. These scholarships are traditionally awarded to those females who reside, attend school, or are employed in the Greater Delaware Valley, or who are members of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of The Ninety-Nines, Inc. The scholarship awards may be used for any aviation purpose, and all qualified applicants will be seriously considered. Request for Application due 4/21. Deadline 4/25. Mid-Atlantic Section Meeting
