Who we are:

We are a volunteer, non-profit group of women aviators or aviatrixes, young and old. Students, Engineers, Mothers, Military Personnel, Professional Pilots, Businesswomen, Teachers, Health Care Workers, and more, who share a love of aviation.

This is the official webpage for the Keystone Chapter, Mid-Atlantic Section of the Ninety-Nines International group.


Where we are:

Northeast Pennsylvania – from the Lehigh Valley (including Quakertown and Reading) to the New York State border

Our mission:

  • To provide support, encouragement and networking opportunities to women pilots
  • To educate youth about aviation and thus promote interest in science, math and aviation careers
  • To provide access to scholarships to help women pilots further their flying passion or career
  • To promote general aviation in the community


What we’re doing:

LNAA Girls in Flight Day

We will be helping the Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority with hosting this event. It is open to the public. If you know of someone who is interested in attending, click here to access registration.

It’s election time!

The Keystone Chapter’s Election 2026 is OPEN. Please check your emails for the official ballot. This is a full election and we would love to see our Chapter’s talents shine. Ballots open April 1st and close April 30th.

New Scholarship Opportunity

Sentimental Journey Association has opened its long-standing aviation scholarship program to new applicants for the 2026 flight training season. The scholarship, in the amount of $1,000, is open to any high school student residing in Pennsylvania aged 15 or older who is interested in a career in some aspect of aviation.

Qualified applicants should email Ms. Esther Gardner, the Executive Coordinator of Sentimental Journey, at sjfly-in@hotmail. com. The Scholarship Application Form is available on this website. More details about the history and the agreement with the winning applicant are available here. There is no fee to apply for the scholarship. Applications must be submitted before May 31, 2026 and the award will be announced at the S-J Awards Banquet Friday night at the Fly-in.

Our Section Scholarship window is now open. Many Keystone members have won this scholarship. Aids with advanced training (post Private).
